Bumblebee Step by Step Thursday

Step by Step:
Get all your stuff together! I am so bad at this. I get everything I think I am going to use, then I get to the step in the middle and I have to go find some tool!

For this card I used:
PAPER ~
base (georgia pacific): 4.25x11 folded in half to make my base at 4.25x5.5"
yellow (paper studio): 4.25" before cutting
DP (CLICK by KMickus - digital): 4.25x3"
IMAGES ~
Digital: Black Leaf Studio Freebie
Stamp: Unity Stamp Company from June 2009 Kit of the Month
NESTABILITIES ~
Circle
Inverted Circle
Label 8
MARKERS/INKS ~
(Stampin' Up): Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry
OTHER ~
Glitter Glue
Foam Adhesive
Liquid Glue
STEP 1: I took the base and used the Label 8 Die to cut the shape on my cuttlebug. You take and fold the base and then layer the label 8 die on the paper, leaving the fold INSIDE the cutting area as seen in photo so your fold doesn't get cut: STEP 2: I cut the yellow layer AND dp together along with embossed it:
STEP 3: Glue together to have a partially completed card:
STEP 4: I printed out my digital image from BLACK LEAF DESIGNS:

I printed 3 different sizes since I wasn't exactly sure what would fit inside my circle nestabilitie with the sentiment I wanted (tried it at 1.15", 1.25" and 1.35"):
STEP 5/6: After I stamped the sentiment from Unity, I checked to see what fit best:
STEP 7: Once I had the size I wanted, I cut it out! I also cut out the black Inverted Circle layer at this time:
STEP 8: Color the image and put glitter glue on and layered my image with my black layer.
STEP 9: Then comes the adhesive foam (to pop it up a little) stuck on the back of the black layer and adding it to the card for a finished product!

So today is THURSDAY, which means that if you leave a comment on this post, you will be in for a chance to win a free image from Black Leaf Studios. So if you like my project and step by step... or just want to be in it to win a free image, leave a comment!

Don't forget TOMORROW is another Freebie Friday, so if you come back, you can have a Black Leaf Designs image for free!

And SATURDAY is our sketch challenge. If you participate in the sketch challenge, you can have a chance to win a WHOLE Black Leaf set!

Now just think, if you comment here, you have a chance to win an image, and if you come tomorrow you can have a free image.... what that means is, you will have plenty of Black Leaf Studio images to use for the sketch challenge!

You don't HAVE to use a Black Leaf product for the challenge, but if you have the freebie and have won any of the random commenter images, you already have some to use! Just an idea!
