Halloween Fun Continues....The Spooky Cat

Hey!!!

Received some gorgeous (actually spookily gorgeous) halloween set for play from Tanvi some time back... Since then my mind has been running from the north pole to the south thinking of everything i wanna do with them...

Since i have never ever attempted a halloween project before, i really dint know where exactly to begin...

The other day when i saw Chris's awesome 'house of haunt' stuff, it was an instant creative push... and these 2 days(actually nights... that's the only time my folks at home wud leave me alone to work and think :)) have been the most fun times of my week!!!

Hi, it's me Shalini and i am here to share with you some little things that i made using the range...

1st up is the 'Spooky Cat Cap'

The BLS Halloween sheet coupled with some tulle ruffles and some crimped paper sheets. Coloured a small tennis ball to create that head...

Next in line is the 'Spooky Cat Purse'

the Blackleaf Halloween spider web sheet combined with the spooky cat sheet, some tulle ruffles, a button and there we are...

Then is the 'Spooky Cat Treat Cone'

The Blackleaf cat sheet combined with some matching ribbons and feathers. also created that tiny li'll creature on top of the ribbon... more about it later...
(sorry abt the mess around the cone, just got too carried away with the entire crimping thing :D)

and finally is the 'Spooky Cat Card'

used the skull Dp sent by Tanvi and printed it on a pre dotted sheet... Burnt and distressed edges... Spider web DP, a Spooky Cat Tag pushed inside an acetate pocket stitched onto the card... some ribbon, that spider topper and a car charm!!!

the tag can be used separately as well...

it's got a small note inside as well :)
and it reads:

Here's the complete 'Spooky Cat range'

The DPs are very very versatile and can be combined to create some gorgeous stuff...  for the complete range of these exciting stamps, DPs and loads of other stuff head over straight to www.shopblackleaf.com
Hope you had as much fun going through it as i did making 'em...
thanks for visiting!

Stay tuned for loads of action happening here at the Blackleaf Studios...
lots more in store for you... till then,

Happy Crafting!!!

Love,
Shalini
