Step-by-Step Thursday!!!

Hello Everyone!!!

so, how have you been... it's about 2.45 am(yes... am :))... have been quite waiting to share this fun image and my project with all of you(couldn't wait till morning to share this :))!!! This card is inspired by one by Shari... had it circulating in my mind for quite some time... and the moment i saw these super 'Stars', i knew this was it...

Here's the 'Stars' stamp set that i used. Available now at www.shopblackleaf.com.

Such versatile and handy stars... had my brain running from one end to the other the moment i set my eyes on these... the possibilities with these are endless... for starters, they would do wonders on baby shower and congratulation projects...

Here's a sneak peek...

I just love polka dots, so that's the one picked out of the set :)

and here's how it was made...

two identical stars cut out of a choco chip card stock... one is the front and other would form the back of the card:)

Then i cut out another star, a little smaller that the previous one...

Girls, this is the best time to pull out your mini scrap sheets you've been hoarding and not wanting to throw away... any size / shape / color will do...

create a collage kinda look with paper strips/bits...  stick them randomly on the smaller star and then neatly cut off the excess...

Print out the star on any sheet... you could also use a plain white sheet and then color in the star... i have customized mine to go with the color of the card and then printed it on a PP...

Assemble all the above... Have used foam squares for layering and dimensions... a button, twine, faux stitching, some gems, sentiment and voila... it's done!!!

Wasn't that super easy and fun!!!
